HEIGHT

The assembly of the rope always starts with the main and unalterable characteristic, your height.

ELBOWS

The position of your elbows also establishes a very important measure, because they can differentiate between an ideal or short rope. In this case, it is a measure that can and should be corrected for an ideal technique – elbows closer to the torso.

FEELING

The speed with which you like to propel the rope, faster or slower, is also important for more accurate personalization.

THREE DIFFERENT CABLE THICKNESS

1.8 mm

1.8 mm thick stainless steel cable without coating and great for those looking for lightness and speed above average. It is not recommended for training situations or begginers.

2.0 mm

Coated steel cable 2.0 mm thick and 10 different colors, perfect for day-to-day use and competition. It is an ideal cable for competitors, experienced and beginners, regardless of whether they know how to jump or not.

3.5 mm

More malleable and coated steel cable 3.5 mm thick and 2 different colors. Due to its construction it makes the rope heavier and slower. It is indicated to train consistency and muscle balance in the shoulders. Due to its slower trajectory and weight, it will also be indicated for beginners with difficulty in coordinating / rotating arms or wrists.

How do I know the best measurement for my rope?

Leave it to us, through the brief survey you answer when placing your order, we have enough information to send you the rope tailored to you.

Ok, I already received my rope but how do I know my cable size?

When you receive the rope, you will also receive a card with the serial number, reference and date of construction of your rope. (Ex. # URP12345 – BLK / BLK // BLK270 – 01/01/20 – URope number 12345, with 1 black handle, 2 black handle and black 270cm steel cable built on 01 January 2020). Through this reference we will know everything about your rope in case you need something related to your rope.

What is the best thickness of the steel cable for me?

Depending on your technique or goal we can advise you on the different cables:

If you want a very fast and light cable with a very low response in your handles, the ideal one is 1.8mm without coating.
If, on the other hand, you want a universal cable, suitable for any situation, we recommend the 2mm cable.
If your problem is to rotate the arms faster than the leg work, we recommend a 3.5mm cable so that you feel a heavier response in the wrists and thus more easily coordinate the upper chain with the lower chair (legs and arms)

Why can't I adjust the cable?

We want that, when you have the rope in your hand, you are practicing your jumps to the maximum without worrying about making adjustments. In most cases, the chaining of the jumps does not happen due to user failure without any fault of the equipment. That is why we believe that by having a fixed rope you will get used to it more quickly and more efficiently correct what is wrong.

How long will last my steel cable?

We are unable to tell you how long your cable will last, because it depends on several factors, such as:

Type of ground where you jump
Amount of cable hitting the ground while jumping
Be careful when opening and closing the rope

Use on abrasive soils is not recommended, its continued use may reduce the life of the cable

How do I replace my URope cable?

You will notice that the cable is attached to the handle by a double ring (like a key ring) so it is very simple to replace or change the cable. Check the video

Can I choose a handle of each color?

Yes, you can even have a handle of each color.

Can I have more than one cable for my rope?

Yes, you can have more than one cable for your rope, since each thickness has a different purpose, thus having a more complete rope for all objectives.
